Andy is a qualified registered social worker trained to masterâ€™s level with over 30 years expertise in the field. He has managed both social work and health services up to Assistant Director level. Andy has published his work with parents with learning disabilities and has regularly appeared as an expert witness in such matters. He is able to assess and intervene in the most challenging and complex situations providing expert written
analysis and plans.
Mia is a qualified teacher trained to Master's level with nearly 25 years experience. She has worked in schools up to Assistant Principal level and has specialised in developing a culture of inclusion. She was instrumental in developing multi-agency approaches to education in Suffolk in a bid to find solutions to the ever increasing number of school exclusions and is passionate about supporting children and young people who have been, or are at the risk of being excluded from school. She is able to assess learning and behavioural needs and provide supported interventions that enable the young person to overcome barriers to learning. She recently completed an MSc Psychology and was awarded 1st place by the BPS East of England Branch for her poster presentation on "Emotional Support and Life Satisfaction in Schools".
